Blue Lagoon was created by Andy MacElhone, the son of famed bartender Harry MacElhone, at Harry's New York Bar in Paris in the 1960s or early 1970s. So, the drink predates the 1980 movie of the same name.

Add the vodka, blue curaأ§ao and lemonade to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a hurricane glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cherry.
